(Alliance News) - Princess Private Equity Holding Ltd on Tuesday reported a strong rise in assets in 2019 as the investment's company portfolio valuation grew.
At December 31, the investment company's NAV per share stood at EUR12.56, up 3.3% from EUR12.16 three months earlier, and 15% higher from the EUR10.90 seen at the same point the year before.
Princess's net assets rose 15% over 2019 to EUR868.7 million from EUR753.7 million at the end of 2018.
The investment firm declared a total dividend of EUR0.58 for 2019, up from EUR0.56 in 2018.
As a result, the company's NAV total return for 2019 was 21%, which is behind the 30% gain made by the MSCI World index.
In 2019, Princess Private Equity made EUR104.1 million of realisations from its portfolio and EUR69.3 million of new investments. As a result, the investment company's portfolio valuation increased by 25% in the period.
Shares in Princess Private Equity were down 0.5% in London on Tuesday at 984.43 pence each.
