LONDON (Alliance News) - Primary Health Properties PLC on Wednesday said it has struck deals to acquire two purpose-built health care facilities for a total of GBP8.7 million.
The company has acquired an unnamed company which owns a medical centre in Thornaby in North Yorkshire. The property is currently occupied by two GP practices, a pharmacy, an optician and the NHS, all on 13.5-year leases.
In addition, a subsidiary of Primary Health has contracted to buy the Jubilee Medical Centre in Croxteth in Liverpool. The centre is currently undergoing a refurbishment and will be acquired upon completion with a new 25-year lease for the incumbent GP partnership. The construction is set to complete in the fourth quarter.
Shares in Primary Health were down 0.1% to 391.23 pence on Wednesday.
