LONDON (Alliance News) - Primary Health Properties PLC said Wednesday it has acquired a healthcare workers accommodation located in Northumberland, England, for GBP22.8 million.
The company, which invests in primary healthcare facilities, has acquired Maple & Elm Court, a worker accommodation located next to Wansbeck General Hospital and let to Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
The unexpired lease term on the property is 29 years is accretive to the company's overall portfolio, PHP said. The deal will increase PHP's portfolio to 313 assets with a gross value of around GBP1.5 billion and a contracted rent roll of over GBP77 million.
Shares in Primary Health were trading flat at 112.80 pence each.
