LONDON (Alliance News) - Barclays PLC, HSBC Holdings PLC and Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC will make a total provision of about GBP1 billion for settlements with regulators following a probe into the abuse of foreign exchange benchmarks, Sky News reported on Wednesday.
Sky News said it understands the banks plan to make the provision as part of their third-quarter results.
