PRESS: TalkTalk Ultrafast Broadband Head To Join Virgin Media - FT

LONDON (Alliance News) - TalkTalk Telecom PLC's general manager of Ultrafast Broadband Richard Sinclair will move to join UK telecommunications company Virgin Media Ltd as an executive director of Connectivity "in the coming months", the Financial Times reported on Sunday.

The move comes a month after the FTSE 250-listed telecommunications group signed an agreement with Infracapital to supply full fibre networks in three million homes across the UK.

Sinclair has been at TalkTalk in his role for four years since 2014, and prior to that was chief operations officer at wealth manager Ashcroft Group PLC, for nearly three years from 2012 to 2014.

In 2012 Sinclair was the delivery director for Ofcom during the 2012 London Olympic Games to ensure that the radio spectrum was available for use by broadcasters, emergency services and spectators.
