LONDON (Alliance News) - Sports Direct International PLC is planning to open a chain of low-cost gyms in the UK, claiming it will "revolutionise" the fitness market, the BBC reported on Tuesday.
The FTSE 100-listed sports retailer is planning to open 200 gyms, with membership to be offered for as little as GBP5 per month with a GBP10 joining fee, the BBC said.
The move comes after Sports Direct earlier this year bought 30 gyms from LA Fitness.
