LONDON (Alliance News) - The government is set to strip the consortium handling the GBP9 billion nuclear decommissioning contract for Sellafield of its mandate, the BBC reported on Monday.
The BBC said a spokesman for the Department of Energy and Climate Change said it was "working with industry experts on alternative options".
The Nuclear Management Partners consortium includes AMEC Foster Wheeler PLC , French engineer Areva SA and US engineering group URS Corporation.
