LONDON (Alliance News) - Michael Dobson is set to step down as the chief executive of blue-chip fund manager Schroders PLC this week after more than 14 years running the business, the Financial Times reported.
Peter Harrison, the head of investment at Schroders, will take over from Dobson, according to people familiar with the matter. He had been widely-tipped as Dobson's heir after being appointed to the board in 2014, the FT said.
Dobson's departure is expected to be announced on Thursday alongside Schroders' 2015 results.
