LONDON (Alliance News) - The Financial Times on Wednesday reported Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC's Chief Operating Officer Simon Kirby will leave the company in June after just 19 months in the post.
The newspaper said he is the first high-profile casualty of the engineer's latest restructuring, which may also see it depart its London headquarters which it has inhabited for 40 years.
Kirby joined in September 2016 having headed up the HS2 high-speed rail project, where he became involved in a controversy over unauthorised redundancy payments.
Shares in Rolls-Royce Holdings closed down 1.5% at 830.00 pence on Wednesday.
