LONDON (Alliance News) - A quartet of senior City figures are to be appointed to the board of Quindell PLC in a bid to rehabilitate the reputation of the embattled insurance outsourcing company, Sky News reported on Sunday.
Richard Rose, currently the chairman of AO World PLC and Booker Group PLC, is set to be appointed as Quindell's new chairman, Sky said, while Jim Sutcliffe, the former head of Prudential PLC's UK business and former chief executive of Old Mutual PLC, is to become deputy chairman.
Sky also cites banking sources who said the company plans to name Marisa Cassoni, the former finance director of Royal Mail PLC, and John Tomlins, a former colleague of Sutcliffe, as consultants.
