PRESS: New Tullett Prebon Chief Eyes Electronic Trading Push - FT

LONDON (Alliance News) - Tullett Prebon PLC's new chief executive has indicated he will target a further push into electronic trading, according to a Financial Times report online on Monday.

According to the report, John Phizackerley told staff the UK was "in a great position to be one of the winners" of the market.

Citing a memo, FT reported that Phizackerley said: "I have every confidence that Tullett Prebon will emerge from these uncertain times as the number one hybrid voice brokerage firm in the world utilising the best technologies available."

Phizackerley replaced Terry Smith on Monday.
