(Alliance News) - Incoming BP PLC boss Bernard Looney sold shares worth GBP7.8 million not long before his appointment was announced, the Daily Mail reported Monday.
Looney made the sales in February and April, with his appointment made public in October. Looney will step up early in 2019, and is currently serving as Upstream head.
BP, the Daily Mail said, declined to comment, saying the share sales made by Looney were a private matter.
