LONDON (Alliance News) - NHS England's outsourcing contract with Capita PLC has been described as a "shambles" by UK Members of Parliament, the BBC reported on Wednesday.
The BBC said the Public Accounts Committee says thousands of GPs, dentists, and opticians had been delayed in treating patients, and that the contract potentially put patients at risk.
Capita signed the seven-year deal in 2015, with the firm providing back-office services for NHS England.

Shares in Capita were 1.0% higher on Wednesday at a price of 163.85 pence each.
