(Alliance News) - JD Sports Fashion PLC is leading the race to buy an Arcadia Group Ltd warehouse in Daventry, Northamptonshire, Sky News reported on Monday.
The athleisure retailer, which missed out on snapping up assets once owned by now liquidated Arcadia, will buy the remaining logistics assets for about GBP60 million.
Sky News, citing retail industry sources, noted boohoo Group PLC, Amazon.com Inc and eBay Inc all expressed an interest in buying the warehouse.
JD Sports will have to fork out between GBP60 million and GBP90 million, Sky News reported, citing analysts.

JD Sports shares closed up 0.8% at 837.20 pence each in London on Monday.
