LONDON (Alliance News) - HSBC Holdings PLC is set to announce a review into whether or not to move its headquarters from the UK, Sky News City Editor Mark Kleinman tweeted on Friday morning.
"I've learnt that HSBC Holdings directors agreed to launch review at board meeting yesterday. Bombshell move in middle of election campaign," Kleinman tweeted on Friday.
The group is preparing for its annual meeting of shareholders at 1100 BST.

HSBC was not immediately available for comment.
HSBC shares were up 2.1% at 625.11 pence on Friday morning.
