LONDON (Alliance News) - Multi-commodities miner and trading house Glencore PLC is holding talks with Canada's Franco-Nevada Corp and Silver Wheaton Corp, US-based Royal Gold Inc and two other companies to sell off parts of the future production from three South American copper mines, Reuters reported.
The streaming deals involve Glencore's Antamina and Antapaccay copper mines in Peru and the Collahausi mine in Chile, according to two sources with knowledge of the talks, Reuters said.
One source said the talks may expand to include other Glencore mines and said it was also holding talks with Osisko Gold Royalties, a smaller streaming company.
