LONDON (Alliance News) - Carphone Warehouse Group PLC is in advanced talks with UK phone mobile operator Hutchison 3G UK Ltd to offer mobile services over Three's network under its own brand, according to The Financial Times Wednesday.
Carphone will buy wholesale access to Three's network to provide the service, the newspaper reported, following its upcoming merger with electronics retailer Dixons Retail PLC. The merger will create the UK's biggest retailer of mobile phones and electrical goods, as they hope to catch the growing technological trend for "connected devices".
