LONDON (Alliance News) - Outsourcing company Capita PLC has recruited Patrick Butcher as chief financial officer to accelerate its turnaround programme, Sky News reported late Tuesday.
Butcher serves as finance head at FTSE 250-listed transport company Go-Ahead Group PLC since November 2015. He will replace an outgoing Capita CFO Nick Greatorex, who announced his decision to step down in July.
Prior to that, Butcher was a finance director of infrastructure manager Network Rail.
Sky News said the new finance boss will be "a critical component" of the rebuilding plan unveiled earlier this year by Jonathan Lewis, Capita's new chief executive officer. In March last year, Capita was demoted from the FTSE 100 index following a string of profit warnings.
