PRESS: Barclays Faces Client Money Probe By UK Authority - FT

18th Aug 2014 05:58

LONDON (Alliance News) - Barclays PLC is being investigated for failing to keep clients' money separate from its own, the Financial Times reported online on Friday.

The latest probe by the Financial Conduct Authority could result in the bank incurring a financial penalty, the report said, citing people familiar with the situation.

FT said that Barclays and the FCA declined to comment.
