LONDON (Alliance News) - Shareholders in Electra Private Equity PLC on Thursday voted in favour of appointing activist investor Edward Bramson to the private equity investment trust's board, the Financial Times reported.
According to the newspaper, Bramson received more than 50% of the vote in a meeting of shareholders on Thursday.
Bramson is the head of Sherborne Investors, which runs the London-listed Sherborne Investors (Guernsey) B Ltd.
Electra was not immediately available for comment.
Shares in Electra were down 0.7% at 3,570.00 pence on Thursday early afternoon.
