LONDON (Alliance News) - Anheuser-Busch InBev has made a renewed offer for SABMiller, Sky News reported Monday, although the exact price it is proposing to pay in its fourth takeover approach was unclear.
Market sources indicated that it would be at around GBP43.50 per share, the report said.
SABMiller rejected a GBP42.15 a share offer last week as "substantially undervaluing" the company.
Shares in SABMiller were up 1.1% at 3,710.00 pence Monday afternoon, having spiked to 3,800 pence after the report.
