LONDON (Alliance News) - 3i Group PLC is considering an initial public offering for Basic-Fit, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The move could value the Dutch gym chain about EUR1.0 billion including debt, the report said, with a listing to take place in Amsterdam this year if the market for new issues is favourable.
No final decision has been made, the report said, with other options for the London-listed private equity group being to sell the business outright or to keep the asset for longer.
Shares in 3i were up 0.3% at 425.20 pence on Thursday morning.
