LONDON (Alliance News) - Premier Veterinary Group PLC on Thursday said it has launched its preventative healthcare programme for pets in France.
The programme is called Premier Pet Care Plan in the UK, but has been branded as Premier VetoPlan in France.
The first business development manager and support training manager have been appointed to lead the programme in France, with an initial primary focus on Paris and the Ile de France region which surrounds the capital. The first contact has already been signed with a clinic in Toulouse, in the south of France.
"Following our successful roll-out of PPCP in the Netherlands, we have been reviewing the market opportunity in several other major European territories. We have now launched a bespoke preventative healthcare programme for France where we see an exciting opportunity for rapid growth," Chief Executive Dominic Toner said in a statement.
Shares in Premier Veterinary were trading down 2.6% at 134.00 pence on Thursday morning.
