LONDON (Alliance News) - Premier Oil PLC Thursday said its production guidance for 2013 remains unchanged after it re-started gas exports from the repaired Chim Sao gas pipeline in Vietnam and said oil production at the Huntington field in the UK is increasing.
In a statement, the oil and gas company said restrictions on the Huntington field are continuing to be lifted and oil production rates are now up to 20,000 barrels a day. "We expect full production rates to return as remaining restrictions are removed," it said.
Premier Oil shares were up 1.3% at 311.987 pence early Thursday, one of the biggest rises on the FTSE 250.
