Kijima is stepping down from Premier Foods' board due to his decision to retire from Nissin. He served on Premier Foods' board since July 2016 pursuant to a the relationship agreement between the company and Nissin.
The food company said Nissin's Chief Strategy Officer Shinji Honda will replace Kijima as non-executive director and as Nissin's representative.
The board changes are effective from Friday next week.
Premier Foods Chairman Keith Hamill said: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Kijima for his significant contribution to both the board and the partnership between Premier and Nissin, which has helped to ensure the successful launch of a number of exciting new products to market."
"We welcome Honda to the board and look forward to working with him in the future," Hamill added.
