LONDON (Alliance News) - Premaitha Health PLC said Monday that positive results from an independent study of its non-invasive prenatal screen test IONA have been published in the Journal of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The study was undertaken by a team at Kings College Hospital, London, as assessed the test's performance for the screening of Down's syndrome, Edwards' syndrome and Patau's syndrome.
"These results confirm what our customers have already reported; that the IONA test is a highly accurate, robust and simple screen for Down's syndrome and other serious genetic conditions," said Chief Medical Officer William Denman in a statement.
Shares in Premaitha were up 1.0% at 13.25 pence Monday morning.
