LONDON (Alliance News) - Premaitha Health PLC shares gained ground in early trade on Tuesday after the company said it has signed a collaboration deal with Centrum Badan DNA Group in Poland for its non-invasive prenatal IONA test.
Under the deal, the pair will work to establish Centrum Badan as Premaitha's preferred partner for the Polish market.
No financial details were disclosed on the deal.
The test uses a sample of maternal blood to estimate the risk of a foetus having serious genetic disorders.
"We have selected Centrum Badan as our preferred collaborator in Poland due to the company's technical next-generation sequencing expertise and its close network of obstetricians and clinicians," said Premaitha Chief Executive Stephen Little.
Shares in Premaitha were up 8.9% to 27.5 pence in early trade, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share.
