(Alliance News) - Predator Oil & Gas Holdings PLC said Tuesday it has appointed a new head of drilling at the Guercif joint venture, onshore Morocco.
Predator has a 75% stake in Guercif permits I, II, III and IV, with the remaining 25% held by the Office National des Hydrocarbures et des Mines, the national resources firm.
The company has appointed Moyra Scott as project drilling manager. Scott will be joining from Canadian energy services provider Aucerna, where he has been Solutions Consultant since 2019.
Prior to that, he was a drilling project manager for SDX Energy PLC for a year from 2017 to 2018.
"The company is delighted to have attracted someone of Moyra's exceptional calibre and experience to manage its drilling operations. It further demonstrates the attractiveness of the value proposition the company is developing at Guercif and the potential seen by others for "running room" based on a successful drilling campaign. Logistical planning has commenced and well services are being sourced," said Chief Executive Paul Griffiths.
Shares in Predator Oil & Gas were down 1.9% at 4.07 pence on Tuesday in London.
