LONDON (Alliance News) - Prairie Mining Ltd on Tuesday confirmed talks are ongoing about a potential partnership with Polish firm Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa SA.
In March, Prairie signed a non-disclosure agreement with JSW allowed for talks to be carried out for six months over a possible cooperation at Prairie's coal projects in Poland.
The company, which is also listed in Sydney and Warsaw, owns the Jan Karski project in the east of Poland and the Debiensko hard coking project in the south-west.
Prairie said Tuesday that talks are continuing, though cautioned they are still at an early stage.
Prairie Mining shares were 19% higher on Tuesday at a price of 32.00 pence each.
