LONDON (Alliance News) - Waste-to-energy company Powerhouse Energy Group PLC said on Friday it has promoted Technical Director David Ryan to acting chief executive with immediate effect.
He will be replacing Keith Allaun, who has resigned after seven years in the role, citing "extenuating personal circumstances".
Ryan has been part of Powerhouse for three years, and prior to that was the managing director of industrial group ThyssenKrupp's UK oil & gas operations, from 2012 to 2016.
"Keith has stewarded Powerhouse through challenging and changing times over his tenure on the board and leading the management team; he has been responsible for considerable achievements for which we are very grateful. We wish him every success in his future challenges and we respect his privacy at this time," said Chair Cameron Davies.
Shares in Powerhouse Energy were down 4.3% at 0.39 pence on Friday.
