PowerHouse Energy Says Progressing Partnership With Pyromex

7th Oct 2013 14:03

LONDON (Alliance News) - Powerhouse Energy Group PLC Monday said the integration of its operational team with waste-to-energy firm Pyromex is moving forward, as it said testing of their redesigned ultra-high-temperature gasification reactor in Switzerland is progressing well.

Powerhouse said the reactor incorporates new innovations in waste-to-energy technology to improve ease of maintenance and operation of the reactor.

Based on components used at Powerhouse's 25 tonne per day unit in Germany, the 5 tone per day unit in Switzerland is purpose-built for operation in an office park, enterprise, or community.

"With a small footprint, generating no smoke, leaving no toxic residue behind, and eliminating up to 99% of land-fill destined waste, the Pyromex Reactor is ideal for sustained electrical generation in an environmentally friendly manner," the company said.

Testing and commissioning will be continuing over the next 30 days followed closely by a number of customer demonstration visits.

Powerhouse shares were trading at 4.00 pence Monday, up 1.38 pence or 52.4%.
