LONDON (Alliance News) - Waste-to-energy systems developer PowerHouse Energy Group PLC on Thursday said it has raised GBP250,000 via a share placing with Yady Worldwide SA.
PowerHouse has issued 35.7 million shares to Yady at 0.70 pence per share. Shares in PowerHouse were up 61% on Wednesday to 1.33p on the news.
"We welcome Yady Worldwide as a significant investor in PowerHouse. Yady Worldwide?s commitment to the burgeoning hydrogen economy, as well as waste-to-energy sector, is underscored by its investments in both Waste2tricity PLC and AFC Energy PLC," said PowerHouse Executive Chairman Keith Allaun.
AFC Energy is a UK-listed fuel cell power firm.
