2nd Jul 2018 16:47

LONDON (Alliance News) - PowerHouse Energy PLC on Monday noted "an article in the weekend press" that said the company is working with Japanese car maker Toyota Motor Corp.

The Sunday Telegraph said that PowerHouse is working with Toyota to use the Powerhouse DMG system which turns waste into clean hydrogen.

PowerHouse said on Monday that it is in discussions with a "number of potential industrial customers regarding the use of its technology including Toyota".

The AIM-listed company stressed, however, that "no agreements have been entered into and there can be no certainty any agreements will be reached".

Shares in Powerhouse Energy closed up 5.0% Monday at 0.53 pence each.
