LONDON (Alliance News) - Filtration and environmental technology firm Porvair PLC on Thursday said it made a good start to financial 2019 with revenue rising 18% in the first four months to March-end.
In its annual general meeting statement, the firm said: "The Aerospace & Industrial division has started the year strongly. Profitability of the Metal Melt Quality division was improved by a better start to the financial year in China and improved efficiencies in the US."
Group profits in the four-month period are in line with management's expectations, it added.
Porvair will publish its interim results for the six months to May 31 on June 24.
Porvair shares were trading 0.4% lower at 532.05 pence each.
