LONDON (Alliance News) - Porta Communications PLC Friday said two of its subsidiaries, Thirteen Communications and Newgate Communications, have won a new contract with a "major" new London development at Silvertown in East London.
It said the contract is an integrated consumer and corporate PR brief awarded by The Silvertown Partnership, a consortium of specialist property developers First Base Ltd, Chelsfield and Macquarie Capital. The brief is to lead communications for the GBP3.5 billion development.
It didn't give any financial details of the contract.
The 62 acre Crossrail-served site includes the iconic Millennium Mills, one of the last London landmarks.
The communications and marketing company said that Thirteen and Newgate will develop the Silvertown brand, involving international and UK media, thought leadership platforms, events and brand amplification.
Porta Communications shares were up 12.1% at 7.85 pence Friday afternoon.
