LONDON (Alliance News) - Medical imaging products manufacturer Polarean Imaging PLC said Friday that it has secured a order for its latest polarizer system from the University of British Columbia in Canada.
The university has received financial support from the Canada Foundation for Innovation, the company added. No financial details of the order were disclosed.
"The company's management team is excited to see the continued scientific and clinical evolution of hyperpolarized xenon imaging in medicine and to assist in providing our equipment to researchers in order to push these important frontiers," said Polarean Chief Executive Richard Hullihen.
Shares in Polarean Imaging were up 1.4% at 18.00 pence each.
