(Alliance News) - Polar Capital Global Healthcare Trust PLC on Wednesday said it has appointed Andrew Fleming and Jeremy Whitley as new non-executive directors with effect from the start of December.
The investment firm said Fleming has recently left investment manager Waverton, where he was chief executive, and retired as chair of the board of JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust PLC in December 2018.
Meanwhile, Whitley is currently a non-executive director & chair of the audit committee of Scottish Oriental Smaller Cos Trust PLC. With effect from the beginning of February 2020, Whitley will also join the board of JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust PLC as a non-executive director.
"We are very pleased that both Andrew and Jeremy have agreed to join the board and we look forward to benefiting from their extensive experience and complementary skills," said Chair James Robinson.
Polar Capital Global Healthcare Trust shares were trading 0.6% higher in London on Wednesday at 207.20 pence each.
