LONDON (Alliance News) - Power company Plutus PowerGen PLC on Friday announced the "sudden" death of Chief Executive Phil Stephens.
Chief Financial Officer James Longley has stepped in as CEO on an interim basis.
Executive Chairman Charles Tatnall said: "We are all deeply saddened by the news of Phil's sudden death and all the sympathies and thoughts of the board and employees are with his family at this time.
"On behalf of my colleagues, we have all lost a great friend who was always generous with his time, knowledge and support. It is a huge understatement to say he will be deeply missed by us all.
Plutus shares were 8.0% lower Friday at a price of 0.92 pence each.
