(Alliance News) - Plus500 Ltd on Wednesday said it is to become the exclusive main sponsor for Italian football team Atalanta BC for the next three years, effective September 1.
The online trading services provider will have its logo featured on the front of the Atalanta BC jersey as well as have access to branding rights.
This is Plus500's third new football sponsorship agreement this year, following partnerships with BSC Young Boys Football Club in Switzerland and Legia Warsaw in Poland.
The company now sponsors five international sports teams in total, the remaining to being Spanish football club Atletico Madrid and the Brumbies rugby team in Australia.
Plus500 Chief Executive David Zruia said: "This partnership, alongside our existing sponsorship agreements, adds to the fantastic strength of our sponsorship programmes globally. It also strengthens our presence in Italy, an important market with good growth potential, and supports the international brand recognition of Plus500 and our ability to increase customer base globally."
Plus500 shares were up 1.3% at 1,560.00 pence each on Wednesday morning in London.
