LONDON (Alliance News) - Plexus Holdings PLC Monday said it has secured a new customer through a GBP3.3 million contract win with a Norwegian subsidiary of French oil and gas major Total Group.
In a statement, Plexus said it will supply its POS-GRIP wellhead systems, associated equipment and mudline services to Total E&P Norge AS under the deal, with revenue from the contract to begin in October. Total requires the services for its Solaris gas exploration well in the Graben area of the North Sea, offshore Norway.
"This contract win is in line with Plexus' strategy to increase its global presence as a leading supplier of best in class wellhead equipment in terms of performance, reliability and safety for exploration, production and subsea activities," Plexus said in a statement.
Shares in the oil and gas engineering and services business were up 3.2% at 223.93 pence on Monday.
