LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil and gas engineering business Plexus Holdings PLC Thursday said it has won a GBP1.6 million order from commodities giant Glencore Xstrata PLC to supply its wellhead equipment for drilling offshore Cameroon.
The deal is an extension of a contract it initially won in January, when Glencore ordered equipment for one well head, with options for another two.
"The duration of the contract is two years and may be extended by both parties. Revenues have commenced and will continue into the 2014/15 financial year," Plexus said in a statement.
Plexus shares were up 2.2% at 275 pence Thursday afternoon.
