LONDON (Alliance News) - Emerging markets property investor Plaza Centers NV on Tuesday said it has started an internal investigation into issues raised about its Casa Radio project in Romania.
Plaza said it has "become aware of certain issues with respect to certain agreements that were executed in the past in connection" with the project.
The company has appointed the chairman of its audit committee to investigate the matters internally.
Plaza said it has approached and is fully co-operating with Romanian authorities on the issue.
Plaza said the investigation is ongoing, and it is unable to provide any further details regarding the issues found.
Plaza Centers shares were untraded on Tuesday, having last traded at 1.08 pence.
