(Alliance News) - Plaza Centers NV on Thursday said AFI Europe NV has paid a EUR200,000 down payment in relation to its bid to buy the real estate company's 75% stake in the Casa Radio project in Romania.
In July, Plaza Centers said it signed a pre-sale agreement with AFI to dispose of its shares in the building in Bucharest for EUR60 million.
Now that it has received the EUR200,000 down payment, Plaza and AFI will have 15 months to complete the sale but Plaza added there is no guarantee that the deal will be completed.
Shares in Plaza Centers closed untraded in London on Thursday, last quoted at 20.00 pence each.
