LONDON (Alliance News) - Plaza Centers NV on Monday said it granted an extension to the potential buyer of its 74.7 acre plot in Chennai, India, to complete the transaction by mid-February.
The company said that the unnamed buyer entered a team sheet with its subsidiaries, Elbit Plaza India Real Estate Holdings Ltd and Elbit imaging Ltd, to acquire the land for EUR13.2 million.
If the buyer fails to complete the transaction by the new deadline, the agreement between the companies will be terminated and the firm will consider different options, Plaza Centres explained.
Plaza Centers were untraded at 35.00 pence each on Monday afternoon.
