Playtech Director Roger Withers Resigns, Two Non-Executives Appointed

LONDON (Alliance News) - Playtech PLC said Thursday that Roger Withers had resigned as director and retired from the board.

The company has announced that Hilary Stewart-Jones, a non-executive director, will chair the board's risk and compliance committee and remuneration committee. Stewart-Jones is a gaming law expect who previously held a position at Ladbrokes.

Alan Jackson, previously senior non-executive director, has been appointed non-executive Chairman with immediate effect.

Withers will remain with the company as an adviser on industry matters until the end of September 2014.

Shares in the online gaming software company were trading up 1.5% at 729.50 pence Thursday.
