(Alliance News) - Playtech PLC on Thursday said it is in the early stages of discussion to dispose its financials division TradeTech.
The FTSE 250-listed betting and gaming operator, in response to press speculation, explained it is evaluating "all options for TradeTech", a sale of the unit included.
"Playtech confirms that it is in discussions with a number of parties regarding a sale of the division. However, these discussions are at an early stage and there can be no certainty that any transaction will be forthcoming or whether acceptable terms will be agreed," Playtech said.
Shares in the company closed 0.3% higher at 373.90 pence each in London on Thursday.
