LONDON (Alliance News) - Plant Impact PLC said Wednesday that it has signed a new long-term commercial agreement with Bayer CropScience Brazil for the marketing of Plant Impact's Veritas product to boost efficiency in soy bean and dry bean crops in the country.
The company said the agreement covers exclusive marketing of the product beginning with the 2014/15 growing season and continuing thereafter.
The two companies worked together on a successful pilot project in the 2013/14 season in mid-west Brazil.
Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
"Our Crop Efficiency technologies help plants improve their growing capacity under a variety of conditions, and we are confident that Veritas will bring additional benefits to the Brazilian soy and dry bean grower as well as to the overall technical impact of the Bayer CropScience solution," said Plant Impact Chief Executive John Brubaker in a statement.
Shares in Plant Impact were trading up 2.0% at 25.00 pence Wednesday afternoon.
