LONDON (Alliance News) - Plant Health Care PLC on Thursday said it has signed a development and distribution deal with Sipcam Italia SpA, the Italian agro-chemicals company owned by the Sipcam-Oxon Group.
Under the terms of the deal Sipcam will develop and market Plant Health Care technologies for use on certain crops in the Italian market.
Plant Health Care did not reveal the financial details of the contract, but said it expects it to make a material contribution to its profit and revenue.
"This agreement is further confirmation of the value of Plant Health Care's technology. We look forward to working closely with Sipcam to expand our participation in the European market," said Plant Health Care Chief Executive Officer Paul Schmidt.
Plant Health Care shares were up 0.7% to 93.10 pence on Thursday.
