(Alliance News) - Plant Health Care PLC said Wednesday it has appointed Guy van Zwanenberg as non-executive director, while company managers Jeffrey Hovey and Jeffrey Tweedy will join the board as executive directors, all with the effect on November 1.
The agriculture-focused biological products firm said van Zwanenberg will take over as chair of the audit committee and will hold the position of senior independent director. He is a non-executive chairman of SmartSpace Software PLC and non-executive director of Quixant PLC.
In addition to his new role as executive director, Hovey will continue as chief financial officer, a post he has held since 2013, the company noted.
Meanwhile Tweedy will continue as chief operating officer, a post he has held since 2018.
Richard Webb, non-executive chair, said: "We warmly welcome Guy to the board, where he will bring a wealth of relevant experience. The addition of Jeff Hovey and Jeff Tweedy will ensure that the board is deeply grounded in the execution of our strategy and will help Chris Richards, the CEO, to drive performance."
Plant Health Care shares were up 0.7% in London at 6.77 pence each on Wednesday at midday.
