(Alliance News) - PipeHawk PLC on Tuesday said its automation provider subsidiary QM Systems Ltd has been awarded a contract to provide a facility to Marlux Medical Ltd for the manufacture of specialist medical products for health services.
Shares in PipeHawk were down 12% at 7.05 pence in London on Tuesday.
The project is worth around GBP800,000 and will start immediately, with a completion time frame of September 2021. Hampshire-based PipeHawk said the facility will increase throughput and variant capability, allowing Marlux, which is part of the Gloucestershire-based Summit Medical Group Ltd, to expand its existing client base and volume capacity.
Chair Gordon Watt said: "This is excellent news and demonstrates how the diverse nature of the QM Systems portfolio of partners and unique skill set has enabled it to navigate the difficult conditions experienced in light of the current Covid-19 crisis, and to continue to provide innovation driven manufacturing solutions."
